I’m minutes away from heading off to catch a bus; I’m going home to Philly for Thanksgiving weekend. I’m so excited. Before I leave, I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving. I had a little preview of the holiday meal last Sunday night, when I was invited to a Thanksgiving potluck with friends in the East Village. I made a delicious brandied orange-cranberry sauce to contribute to the dinner. Mmmm….

Guiding Light has continued to keep me very busy. I’ll need this weekend to do some catching up on homework. Then it’ll be back to work on Monday morning.

Wish I could write more, but I’ve got to try and beat the major traffic. Have a very safe and happy holiday. God bless.

Hey Stephanie! Happy Thanksgiving to you hope you had a fun and safe trip! That was so sweet of you to update your blog when you are so busy!

Your acting on GL this week has been fantastic (as usual) but your scenes have just blown me away, you are really showing us Tammy's feelings and problems! You will go far with your acting (although I hope you never leave GL!)

Take care,

Hey Stephanie,

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I am loving watching you and Tom Pelphrey on screen...Both of you are awesome actors and really light up the screen! My mom and I visited the set of GL last December and were so happy to be able to meet you. But we were disappointed we weren't able to meet Tom. Maybe one day! Anyways, good luck with school and thanks for keeping us updated.

It's refreshing to read your blog - moviestar/normal person. I have an 11 year old daughter that loves Marina (especially since I told her she was from Beaverton - we are from Hillsboro). Are you a theatre major? My daughter thinks she wants to be an actress. I said that'd be fine, but she needs to go to college first (or also). I will have her read your is so down to earth.

We have a blog, too at It's quite ordinary, really...about our family yours. Do you ever read any of these? I just read one today about a young couple's coming to terms with a baby girl (their long awaited dream child) that was born with genetic disorders. Sad, but inspiring.

One last thing, you are doing a wonderful job as Tammy. You create excellent chemistry with Tom P. (Jonathan). I've been watching the show for about 25 years. You (your storyline) are the story I've been watching and loving lately. Keep up the great work.

I am so happy that Tammy left with Jonathan, it was worth the wait over Thankgiving. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving, and I wanted to tell you thank you so much for caring about the victims of hurricaine Katrina. I'm from New Orleans, I've lived in Austin for the past 5 years, but all my family are still in the New Orleans area. Most of them lost everything so it really means alot that so many people support them.
Well, take care!

The artist that sings Tammy and Jonathans song is Kaci Brown and yes the title is Unbelievable. Its a great song and fits the 2 characters perfectly.

Hi Steph, I think it is awesome of you to take the time out of your busy schedule to post in your blog!! I think you are doing an excellent job on Guiding Light!!! Keep up the great work.

I LOVED the scenes today, with you and Tom having your own little wedding reception, dancing around, playing basketball with the wedding gifts... So fun to watch, and it looks like the two of you had fun doing it. I love those lighthearted moments in the midst of all the angst. Can't wait for the scenes tomorrow - it looks like there will be some Jammy lovin' in the cabin! Oh - and congrats on winning Soap Opera Digest's Best New Couple! Well deserved.

This is such a busy time of year that I am behind in reading the blogs. But I HAD to come over here today and remark on how excellent GL has been for the last few days, courtesy of the Jonathan/Tammy storyline. Both you and Tom (and Scott and Michelle and everybody, really!) have been doing a marvelous job. I stood up in my living room and sang along to that "Unbelievable" song at the top of my lungs when Jonathan picked up Tammy and carried her off. And the scenes that aired yesterday of the unconventional reception were fantastic. I am simply loving it and can't wait to get home each day to see what happens next!

I also have been watching Guiding Light for many years and I'm 40!
I love your new storyline and you must be thrilled to work with Tom Pelphrey. The both of you are wonderful. Tom is so intense that I can feel every emotion that he has for you as a TV couple. Simply amazing. Keep up the good work!

Hey Stephanie.. I have never written in a blog, but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to say hello. I am totally into the Jammy thing, and I think you and Tom are amazing together...the chemistry between the two of you is SMOKIN' HOT...and I can't miss a minute of it.
I have been a GL fan for 27 yr's but no story has grabbed my attention like this one has.
I think the story of cousins being in love is really great because of the different opinions on the subject. Most of us were thinking it was pretty sick in the beginning, ...but you guys are so amazing together that you have convinced most of us that love is all that really matters. We feel the love!

Keep up the great work ...Happy holidays & Blessings to you.......... Ally
